Arc Angels "Arc Angels" $12.99 Formed in the wake of Stevie Ray Vaughan's death, the Arc Angels are made up of Doyle Bramhall II, Charlie Sexton and Double Trouble's rhythm section, Tommy Shannon and Chris Layton. Their 1992 debut album would be their first and last, but it would prove to be one of the decade's best rock/blues recording.	Marcia Ball "So Many Rivers" $16.99 2003's "So Many Rivers" is the record store's top selling blues album. This album is heavy with her Louisiana/Texas border roots and will have you up and dancing by the first song. It's a standout album from the Queen of gatorythms, who has only gotten better with age. The album was nominated for a Grammy, too!
Marcia Ball "Live! Down the Road" $16.99 Recorded in 2004 at the Sierra Nevada Brewing Company in California, Marcia gives a soulful live performance that the fans have been waiting for. She's famous for her live performances. She pours out her swampy blend of zydeco infused blues and the crowd dances until the sun comes up.	Albert Collins "Ice Pickin'" $17.99 Released in 1978, this is the album that brought Albert Collins back into the limelight. The record captures the wild, unrestrained side of his playing that had never quite been documented before. A native Texan, Collins blossomed as a guitar player by perfecting his skills in Houston nightclubs for many years. This is a great album and a prime example of the uniqueness of the Texas Blues.
Albert Collins "Live '92-'93" $17.99 A collection of performances recorded shortly before Albert Collins' death, Live '92/'93 offers definitive proof that the guitarist remained vital until his last days. The album made it all the way to the top of the blues charts and remains a bittersweet swan song for Collins' fans.	Angela Strehli "Soul Shake" $13.99 Born in Lubbock, Angela comes from the same school of hippie folksingers who were influenced by the blues/rock-n-roll sounds in 60's Texas. Here she is, in all her glory in her debut CD released in 1991. It's hard-edged, roadhouse blues and gutsy, powerful singing. The band is tough and the songs are first-rate.
Angela Strehli "Blonde & Blue" $18.99 Strehli's tough-talking personna was tailor-made for this collection of songs. A mix of original songs and some impressive covers, she belts them out one by one without even flinching. Great record.	Angela Strehli "Blue Highway" $16.99 Angela Strehli has been a fixture on the Austin blues scene for decades, but as her first studio album in seven years demonstrates, her range extends beyond the blues and well into country, soul, and roots rock. At 60 years old, her voice is strong and slightly gritty around the edges, and her delivery is powerful and authoritative. Guest singers on the album include Marcia Ball and Paul Thorn, not to mention Stevie Ray Vaughan. The two do a powerful version of "C.O.D," along with Double Trouble, at his 1985 Live at Carnegie Hall performance.
Buddy Guy "Blues Master" $10.99 High-energy guitar and boundless on-stage energy have always been Guy trademarks, along with a tortured vocal style that's nearly as distinctive as his incendiary rapid-fire fretwork. This is a collection of some of his best songs.	Buddy Guy "Bring 'Em In" $18.99 This is a star-studded recording with guest vocals and musicians including Tracy Chapman, John Mayer, Keb Mo, Robert Randolph and many others. Chris Duarte "Texas Sugar/Strat Majik" $17.99 Often compared to his Texas blues counterparts, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Johnny Winter, Duarte has his own sound that draws on elements of jazz, blues and rock & roll. This is an impressive debut album from a promising Texas blues artist. Chris Duarte "Love Is Greater Than Me" $17.99 This Austin-based blues guitarist's 2000 release shows his expanding take on traditional blues guitar. He mixes in touches of grunge, jazz, and funk amidst his rockin' blues style.	Chris Duarte "Romp" $17.99 His 2003 release is filled with blazing guitar solos, poetry and haunting melodies that are all molded into one intense record. Delbert McClinton "Delbert & Glen" $13.99 Delbert McClinton and Glen Clark had been knocking around the Texas rock scene for more than a decade before teaming up in California for a couple of albums in the early 1970s. The CD is very much a Texas roots record, blending blues, country, soul, gospel, and rock & roll. Several of the songs might be familiar to some listeners; the Blues Brothers did "'B' Movie Box Car Blues," and Bonnie Raitt did "Sugar Daddy" (as "Sugar Mama"). It's a great record.	Delbert McClinton "Never Been Rocked Enough" $9.99 Known as a musicians' musician, this album is in his classic fashion. Wailing harp and bold vocals make this album a classic in his catalog. Includes the Grammy winning duet with Bonnie Raitt "Good man, Good woman."
Delbert McClinton "One Of The Fortunate Few" $13.99 Like the first track says, Delbert McClinton is like an old weakness, comin' on strong. Sung and played thoughout with sass and a knowing grin, this is music that speaks to everyone. And for once the guest artists add just the right amount, neither dominating nor lessening the proceedings.	Delbert McClinton "Delbert McClinton: Live" (2disc) $24.99 The best way to experience Delbert McClinton's rowdy roadhouse combination of blues, roots rock, R&B, country, and Tex-Mex is on-stage with a couple of hundred other fans on a Saturday night. This is a nearly perfect, double-disc live album, and captures all the intensity of his sweat-drenched, harp-wailing performances.
Delbert McClinton "Cost Of Living" $17.99 The feel of the tunes on this record are tough, gritty Texas rhythm & blues, hard honky tonk blues, slippery acoustic country, and killer funky white boy Southern soul. While there isn't a weak tune in the bunch, there are some standouts, such as "The Part I Like the Best and the swamp R&B feel of "I'll Change My Style." This is one of his best albums yet.	Delbert McClinton "Live From Austin Texas" $17.99 It's his performance from the popular TV show "Austin City Limits." This new CD series includes the full, unedited performances of artists that have performed on the show. (This performance is also available on DVD)
Fabulous Thunderbirds "What's The Word?" $15.99 With their fusion of blues, rock & roll, and R&B, the Fabulous Thunderbirds helped popularize roadhouse Texas blues to the masses and, in the process, helped kick-start the 80's blues revival. Formed in Austin in the mid 70's, this is the band's second album and was released in 1980.	Fabulous Thunderbirds "Butt Rockin'" $15.99 Their third release is a mix of New Orleans R&B and swamp-pop. Includes a mix of covers and features originals written by lead singer, Kim Wilson. A standout is a jaw-dropping insturmental by Wilson, with Little-Walter styled harmonica.
Fabulous Thunderbirds "Tuff Enuff" $10.99 It's their hugely successful breakout album, released in 1986. It spawned a number of Billboard hits including "wrap it up" and "tuff enuff," the video for which got heavy airplay on the, newly formed, MTV!	Fabulous Thunderbirds "Live" $13.99 Recorded in Los Angeles in 2000, it's a mix of all their big hits and displays their rowdy blend of blues/roots rock.

Freddie King "Getting Ready" $13.99 Born and raised in Gilmer, Texas, Freddie King started out playing acoustic blues. As the years progressed, he rose to fame in the 60’s playing his blend of electrified blues/rock.
Ian Moore "Luminaria" $15.99 Ian Moore is a rare-breed of artists who evolve their music style as they grow older. Jimmie Vaughan "Do You Get The Blues?" $17.99 Jimmie Vaughan has never been concerned about matching his younger brother, Stevie Ray’s, heavy approach to blues guitar. He’s got the chops to rip some spellbinding solos, he showed us that in the Thunderbirds, however, this album blends jazz and R&B blues rhythms for an equally enticing and enjoyable sound.
John Hiatt "Crossing Muddy Waters" $17.99 With his songs being recorded by everyone from Bonnie Raitt to the Neville Brothers, John Hiatt has remained a seeming unnoticed recording artist. This album is predominantly an acoustic album. The songs are filled with a homespun honesty and talk about lost love, with a sometimes comical tone. It is one of our best-selling Hiatt albums in the store and has become a fan favorite.	John Hiatt "Master Of Disaster" $18.99 His latest release is an introspective and soulful collection of songs with a more singer/songwriter feel. With his raspy vocals, Hiatt sings about sobering life lessons yet, with his signature hint of comic relief buried deep in the subject matter. After a whopping 19 studio albums under his belt, Hiatt proves that his is not done yet.

Johnny Winter "Nothing But The Blues" $12.99 Born in Beaumont, Texas, Johnny Winter paid his dues on the Texas honky-tonk scene for many years playing his blues/rock blend. After an article about him in Rolling Stone magazine in 1968, Columbia records took notice and signed him to a record deal. After a string of rock albums, he teamed up with Muddy Waters for this 1977 blues album. Waters sings on every track and Winter wails on guitar, resulting in a Johnny Winter album like no other.
Johnny Winter "White Hot Blues" $11.99 It took time for Winter to finally be recognized as a bluesman. Realizing that his rock is blues and his blues is rock, this album hits the nail on the head. This album is a collection of songs from his years at Columbia Records, and is a fine collection of some of his best work.	Johnny Winter "I'm A Bluesman" $17.99 Released in 2004, it had been 8 years since we had heard from Johnny Winter. He makes his comeback with this album, which is still in his signature style of blues/rock. Mixed with original material and contributed material, not to mention is accomplished guitar work, it will have Winter fans feeling like no time has passed at all.
Jonny Lang "Smokin" $14.99 The mid 1990’s saw a phenomenon of teenage blues artists skyrocketing to fame with their souped up brand of blues/rock. Jonny Lang kicked off this trend, by releasing this debut album at the age of 14. By the time he was 15, record labels were in bidding wars over him. This is a strong debut album with fluid and professional guitar playing and singing. Not bad for someone who’s mother has to drive him to the gig.	Jonny Lang "Lie To Me" $15.99 His second release, at the age of 15, reached #1 on the Billboard Blues chart in 1997. Lang is a technically gifted guitar player and can rip up complex blues riffs at a very rapid pace. One of his best albums, by far.
Jonny Lang "Wander This World" $16.99 An impressive sophomore effort by Lang, he starts to find his own musical style on this record by mixing influences of funk, rock, and soul. By proving he’s not a flash in the pan, this album paved the way for his successful and innovative music career ahead.	Jonny Lang "Long Time Coming" $16.99 After a five year absence, Lang returns with a more adult-sounding music style. The album has a more contemporary feel to it, but is still laced with his intricate guitar playing. Check out the last track, which is a live recording of a Stevie Ray tune.
Keb' Mo' "Slow Down" $12.99 With a unique sound, Keb' Mo' is a bluesman by trade. He takes the traditional acoustic country blues style, and puts a contemporary spin on it. The album has a polished, laid-back feel to it, and should please fans of acoustic blues music. Grammy Award winner for Best Contemporary Folk Album 1998	Keb' Mo' "Keep It Simple" $14.99 Released in 2004, this is Keb' Mo's masterpiece. A contemporary bluesman of sorts, Keb' Mo' worked his way out of his childhood neighborhood of Compton, by playing Robert Johnson covers on his steel guitar. Over the years, he blossomed in to an outstanding musician, and created a unique blend of americana infused blues. This album reached #1 on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart and won a Grammy for Best Contemporary Blues Album 2004.
Keb' Mo' "Peace...Back By Popular Demand" $14.99 Released in 2004, this is a collection of 60's and 70's protest songs that eerily fit our country's modern day profile. He tones down the vocals and instruments on the record in order to let the real message shine through, resulting in a stirring, thoughtful record.	Keb' Mo' "Suitcase" $16.99 His 2006 release finds Keb teaming up with his long-time friend and producer. Together they create a great album that paints a picture of the everyday complexities of life. The songs tell stories about the emotional baggage that people carry while searching for peace, love, and personal redemption. But don't let that description bring you down. The subject matter is sobering, but he manages to keep the feel and style of the tracks, light and effervescent. You'll see what I mean when you hear the first cut, "Your Love," which has a reggae spring in it's step.
Randy Garibay "Chicano Man Blues" $14.99 Known as the Father of San Antonio Blues, Randy Garibay mixes his cultural heritage and perspecitve on life, to create a blend of blues that is uniquely his own. Tex-Mex Blues. Wow, how great is that? Passing away painfully too soon, his albums are extremely hard to come by and are treasured by Texans everywhere.	Randy Garibay "Monticello Sessions" $14.99 Dedicated to the memory of Randy Garibay, all proceeds from the sale of this album go directly to the Randy Garibay Legacy Fund, which serves and provides help for homeless and impovrished families and addicts in the San Antonio area. The session was captured on a cassette recorder around the holiday season in the 1980's, and includes the San Antonio music legends George Prado, Sebastian Campesi and Randy Garibay. This is a rare treat for any Chicano blues fan.
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Texas Flood" $13.99 This landmark 1983 debut album skyrocketed up the charts, to the suprise of many of Vaughan's critics. During the time of it's release, blues was no longer cool and had died along with the 60's. For a blues album to hang on the Billboard Top 40 album charts in the mid 80's was unheard of. Vaughan had managed to single-handedly spawn a major blues revival, and a classic album that would impact blues music in Texas, and the world, for years to come.	Stevie Ray Vaughan "Couldn't Stand The Weather" $13.99 This album shattered the sophomore album stereotype that is affixed to those with debut album success. It confirmed that the first album was no fluke, this guy was the real deal, and album sales even surpassed Texas Flood! With a video for the title track in heavy rotation on the fledgling 1984 MTV, the fans proclaimed, "A blues messiah had arrived."
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Live Alive (double set)" $14.99 With the release of his first three albums, Stevie Ray Vaughan embarked on a grueling tour schedule, and recording an exceptional live album in the process. The double-length album has the band playing many of their biggest hits, and showcases Vaughan's passionate guitar style.	Stevie Ray Vaughan "In Step" $15.99 This 1988 release has Vaughan coming into his own as a songwriter, as well as, a phenomenal guitarist. Newly clean and sober, the album has Vaughan playing with conviction and clarity that was not previously heard on other albums. The songs have an emotional honesty to them and the guitarwork displays Vaughan's expansive musical influences. Vaughan's death, less than a year after it's release, makes the album a bittersweet one, while also having won Stevie a second Grammy award for Best Contemporary Blues Recording.
Stevie Ray Vaughan "The Sky Is Crying" $13.99 After his death, this 1991 release is a ten-track outtake collection of songs recorded between '84-'89. The songs were left off albums released during his short career, for whatever reason, but the songs/outtakes prove to be some of his most powerful work to date. The songs are collage of his musical diversity and resonate his gift for music, in the light of his death.	Stevie Ray Vaughan "Live at Carnegie Hall" $14.99 Recorded at the famous Carnegie Hall in New York City in support of his 1984 second album, this was a rare and special performance. Backed up by the Roomful of Blues brass section, Stevie and Double Trouble burn up the stage with some of their biggest hits. Featuring guest singers and musicians, this album is one of his best live recordings ever released.
Stevie Ray Vaughan "Blues at Sunrise" $13.99 The concept behind this album is slow, moanin’ blues. It features a collection of live, studio, and rare unreleased material that is sequenced, in such a way, that it feels like a lost studio album. Some of the live tracks include duets featuring Johnny Copeland and Albert King, and a unreleased live recording of Texas Flood. This is a great compilation album that shows another side to Vaughan’s typical wild and reckless guitar style, and focuses on the laid-back, wailin’, rainy-day blues.	Vaughan Brothers "Family Style" $14.99 As native Texan brothers, Jimmie took up guitar during childhood and encouraged his younger brother, Stevie Ray, to learn to play guitar, too. The two would eventually have impressive careers in music; Jimmie, with The Fabulous Thunderbirds, and Stevie Ray…well, you know all about him, he impacted modern blues music in a way no one has seen since. The duo finally got a chance to record an album together in 1990, which, tragically, was released a month after Stevie Ray was killed in a helicopter crash. We are fortunate the two did find the time to record together and leave us with a wonderful and special album.
Susan Tedeschi "Just Won't Burn" $18.99 Hailing from Boston, Susan Tedeschi is the whole package: singer, songwriter, blues guitarist, and an amazing performer. She's not just any blues singer, Tedeschi sings with a bold passion not heard in today's modern blues. You'll be convinced of her awesome talent after hearing the first track on this album. With soulful intensity and wailing guitar, she belts out track after track with a voice that hits you like a freight train. It's her debut album, and some of her best work in her catalog. She's a promising blues artist, on the fast track to legendary status.	Susan Tedeschi "Live From Austin Texas" $17.99 The popular TV show, Austin City Limits, have been releasing audio CD's of some of their greatest performances over the years. This is Susan Tedeschi's performance from the show, uncut, and in it's entirety.
Susan Tedeschi "Hope and Desire" $18.99 After a 3 year absence, she's back with her 2005 release on a new record label. A Texan by choice, Toni started on the live music scene in Austin by asking for the worst time slot at the Continental Club, a Tuesday night. Now, almost two decades later, she is still playing her Tuesday night shows at the Continental Club, only now, it's impossible to get in...it's always sold out. Always. A passionate performer with a voice that can melt ice, she's a Texas treasure.
Toni Price "Hey" $14.99 A mix of country, slow blues, and bluegrass, Toni Price can sing the phone book to a sold out audience and they would demand an encore. She is the epitomy of the Austin sound, and her fans hail Toni as their queen.	Toni Price "Sol Power" $14.99 This is a 1997 live, acoustic recording from Alpine, Texas. It is a beautiful album that mixes bluegrass, blues, and country, that only a voice like Toni's can seemlessly blend. The bluegrass/bluesy styled songs on this album are hard to NOT rave about. "The Old Fiddler's Waltz" and "West Texas Lullaby" are some of the best songs I've ever heard, and it almost seems like you're experiencing a whole new genre of music. Highly recommended by our staff.
Toni Price "Low Down and Up" $14.99 Backed up by a slew of guest musicians, including Champ Hood and Dr. John, this is a awesome collection of old and new tunes that blend jazz, blues, and country. With a tight sounding band, and Toni's smooth and lazy vocal delivery, it seems like they have all the time in the world to lay down these tracks, as if they were relaxing on a back porch somewhere. A free-flowing and near-perfect recording, it's got something for every music fan.	Toni Price "Midnight Pumpkin" $15.99 Released in 2001 and backed up by her stellar cast of bandmates, Toni delivers these songs with a smooth style, and letting the song dictate to her what it needs. Not many artists can replicate the emotion Toni can dig from a song, and even fewer can blend so many different music styles together so effortlessly. The lyrics and melodies pour out of her and sting like fine whiskey, and by the last song you need to hear the whole thing again.
Toni Price "Born To Be Blue" $16.99 Released in 2003, this record has the laid-back feel of a smokey, dim-lit jazz club. With a more acoustic feel, Toni holds back on belting out the tracks, and instead, lets the song guide her voice which results in smooth, cozy-feeling melodies. The blues are still ever-present, however they are fused with more jazz and acoustic folk sounds. Toni, herself, has always said that she is no songwriter, instead she chooses to unearth obscure songs from amazing writers, and this album contains an outstanding collection of them. One highlight, among so many, is "Tennessee Whiskey," in which the lyrics seem to drip from her lips like the sweet drink of which she sings.	Randy Garibay "Barbacoa Blues" $14.99 Ten soulful songs from the San Antonio based legend whom Clifford Antone calls, "the Chicano Jackie Wilson." Fusing jazz, latin, country and traditional blues styles, Randy has developed a truly original sound which he calls 'Chicano Blues.'
Jonny Lang "Turn Around" $16.99 After a three year absence, Jonny Lang returns with his 2006 release “Turn Around.” Branching out from his blues guitar slinger persona, Lang infuses funk and gospel into his classic blueswork that made him famous. This album is a prime example of Lang becoming more confident in his role as a veteran guitarist instead of a boy wonder.
